Skiathos International Airport "Alexandros Papadiamantis" (JSI) is found roughly 3 km from Skiathos town focus. It was named after the undeniably popular Skiathos author Alexandros Papadiamantis and was introduced in 1972. While the Skiathos heliport was still in activity, the principal flights started in 1973. The primary helicopter to travel to Skiathos is presently in an aeronautical exhibition hall in the United Kingdom. The principal terminal was opened for use in 1992, and went through remodels in 2002, while the development of a subsequent terminal was being finished. In December 2015, a 40-year concession understanding of Skiathos International Airport was endorsed with FRAPORT. The air terminal runway is 1,628 meters long, while the declining treadmill causes it to have all the earmarks of being more limited. This southernmost point isn't noticeable according to the arrival perspective of the plane arrival. Airplanes landing, pass east of Skiathos and simply over the waterfront street outside the air terminal's boundaries. This closeness has made this area a most loved fascination among airplane picture takers and sightseers for plane-spotting. The Skiathos runway has been nicknamed The European St Maartin, because of its comparable closeness to the ocean. Exceptionally nearby is the congregation of Agios Ioannis, which you can visit prior to leaving the island. Η ακτή της Καρδάμαινας είναι ίσως το καλύτερο σημείο για κολύμπι και θαλάσσια ακτή. Βρίσκεται 30 χλμ. Νοτιοδυτικά της πόλης της Κω, μπροστά από το θέρετρο του ταξιδιώτη. Η ακτή της θάλασσας είναι ασφαλής με λεπτή άμμο και απλώνεται για πολλά χιλιόμετρα μέχρι το λιμάνι. Τα κρυστάλλινα νερά του τραβούν πολλούς επισκέπτες και ξαπλώστρες και ομπρέλες είναι προσβάσιμες κατά μήκος της ακτής. Λόγω του δημιουργημένου ιδρύματος, η Καρδάμαινα είναι πολύ γνωστή στους ταξιδιώτες και τους Έλληνες. Το σημείο προσφέρει διαφορετικές οικιστικές μονάδες και τρέχοντα γραφεία για μια γοητευτική περίσταση. Cardamom | Βρίσκεται στη νότια όχθη της Κω, είναι ένα από τα πιο γνωστά παραθεριστικά θέρετρα στην Ελλάδα, προσφέροντας μια χαλαρή ευκαιρία για όλες τις συναντήσεις ηλικίας.
