Η Κατερίνη είναι πόλη της Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, πρωτεύουσα του νομού Πιερίας. Βρίσκεται στην Πιερική πεδιάδα, ανάμεσα στον Όλυμπο και τον Θερμαϊκό κόλπο, σε υψόμετρο 14 μ.
