Gaios is a beguiling port city and stretches out along the seafront. You can enter Gaios by the north or south passing by two little islands, the first at the passage to the port of Gaios called Panayia (Virgin Mary), which houses an impressive white religious community. On August 15, the Day of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary the doors of the religious community are open and everybody heads out by vessel to the cloister to give proper respect. The port of Gaios is ok for securing medium-term, for a wide range of pontoons. 
On the other island, called Saint Nicholas, a characteristic dock is framed, which prompts the passageway to the beautiful port Gaios.
